With a desire to promote "CROQUET", and all its physical, mental, and social advantages; the Lassiter family, conceptually considered, "If you build it, they will come", resulting in the formation of "Albemarle Croquet Club".

The courts and clubhouse located in Belvidere, NC, could be considered, "in the middle of nowhere and the center of everything". The Club along with its members offer 4 beautiful professionally designed and manicured full size courts. The hybrid Bermuda lawns are maintained at .125 inches for speed and accuracy.

The campus is situated on four acres of country landscape featuring a clubhouse with observation porches. handicap restrooms, and dining accommodations complete with a full service kitchen. We strive to make your visit memorable by offering a relaxed setting and atmosphere, centered around competition, friendship, fellowship, fun and sport, with an emphasis on true "Southern Hospitality".

In addition to quality courts, we realize there are certain criteria which mandate a successful venue ,event or tournament. We strive to provide that "Happy Place" where you can relax and enjoy the moments. As a host, the most important outcome is that "you have a good time". We also realize the complexities of scheduling, the cost of travel and accommodations and such become a moot point if the memory is positive.
